Eko Model Management At Irish Premiere of Alien Romulus

When we got the invite to the screening of Alien Romulus, there were a few mixed reactions—some of dread, but the majority were of utter, uncontrollable excitement. You know, the kind of excitement only sci-fi fans get! The eighth installment in the legendary franchise, landing in Irish cinemas on August 16, 2024, was not a disappointment. Directed by horror mastermind Fede Alvarez—yep, the same guy who brought us spine-tinglers like Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe—this flick takes us back to the roots of the series but with a fresh twist that keeps us on the edge of our seats.

It’s all about the story. The movie follows a group of young, hopeful space colonists who think they’re just out for a routine adventure, but they stumble upon an abandoned space station. Sounds chill, right? Ha! Not so much. Things go from "this is fine" to "holy Xenomorph!" faster than you can say, "Get outta there!" The tension is real, folks, and the cast—featuring the likes of Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, and Spike Fearn—brings their A-game, making sure you feel every bit of that creeping dread.
