Summer 2026 Wardrobe “Ins”
As summer approaches, and our bank cards decline… Here are some must haves for your summer fit lists!
Headbands x Sunglasses
Headscarves have always existed across cultures for generations, the scarf has never really disappeared. This time around it’s blending all its generations. From Y2K and 70s BOHO to a Mediterranean summer accessory. The headscarf has become less convenient, as it's being wore intentionally.
“Wrapped, Tied, Draped Accordingly”
The styling is as unique as the person wearing it…
Fringe is “IN”
Slow fading of the clean girl aesthetic? The growing appetite for texture and imperfections calls on “fringe”.
In Indigenous Cultures it was used for practicality while also holding spiritual value.
This texture also explored the eras of the “Flapper 1920s” and again in the “60/70s” with its Western and Bohemian influences.
Now it showcases all of its past lives in the present day wardrobe…
Headscarfs anywhere but your head
Tied at the neck
Wrapped around the waist
Looped through belts
Draped over shoulders
(slightly undone and never too precise)
How to effortlessly spice up an outfit 101:
= Fluid Versatility.
Can CAMO be a summer print…
Unpopular opinion?
Personally I've never been Camo’s biggest fan but the hint of edge that it adds to “minimal looks” has changed my mind, and possibly yours too.
Although this print was once reserved for combat it indicates that even the most unexpected prints can make sense for your summer wardrobe.
THE PLUNGE/DRAPE TOP
THAT Y2K FEEL
SO FLATTERING,
…. that’s all
Headwear Galore
Not just another craze…
At Copenhagen FW26, these crochet caps were everywhere, from stylists to attendees (usually a sign that something is about to trend)
Wouldn’t be surprised if these tight skullcap’s become a prominent look at Coachella this year!
-we shall seeee
The flat that never left…
“The everyday ballet slipper”
Ballet flats are the kind of footwear that have never really been replaced but do tend to become outdated.
In 2026, footwear is dominating. Substituting both heels and runners, the flat is a perfect option for your day to day look or your nighttime attire.
“Dots” are here to stay!
Polka Dots have secured another season, as they consistently stay trending since their late 2025 comeback. As summer arrives, they still don’t feel overdone.
Some would argue with the statement i’m about to make… Perhaps polka dots are settling into a true classic
Missoni is “chuegy” says who??!!
Missoni came to life in the 50s, when its Italian founders began experimenting with knitwear…
This technique became their speciality, “utilising knitting machines in unwonted ways to design intricate patterns”
Their zig-zag motif has remained instantly recognisable. Proving that Missoni never relied on trends to stay relevant, authenticity is the reason for its longevity.
The Suitcase Staple
These embellished/sheer/chrome cami’s will always be a summer classic in my eyes 🧿🐚
and my suitcase ;)
Stacks on Stacks on Stacks
The maximalist surpasses the minimalist?
Jewellery stacking may feel very new , but it’s always been part of how people dress. The Ancient Egyptians were the first while also present in many South Asian traditions.
The motive now is to promote mixing of metals and stacking your favourite jewels, like…
“Using all those childhood stickers at once”
“The Micro Jacket”
Originating in late 18th century Spain, the “Bolero jacket”, was traditionally worn as part of formal and cultural attire.
“Bolero’s” were traditionally worn by bullfighters and dancers closely linked to Andalusian culture.
In 2026 we now debate if jackets ruin outfits? However, what if they were shrunken and paired with a low rise jean?
- what do you think…
The Ultimate Summer Classic
The combination of “Lace & Broderie” is just so summer. They carry the ease of a warm weather wardrobe.
“lacy oh lacy” - Olivia Rodrigo
Worn with anything, these light, breathable tops and trousers are the ultimate summer classics that will never not work.
A compilation of forecasted trends and classics for this summer!
I hope I’ve provided you with some guidance for your girls holidays & shopping hauls…
Lets hope its the best one yet ;)
